Mark was born in 1969 in Springfield, MO. His first Dream Car was the 427 Shelby Cobra (1965-1967) around age 12. Today it is a Jaguar XKR (1996-2014). Mark’s first car was a ’79 Mustang. Mark now lives in Fair Grove, MO which is near Springfield.
Mark first thought about racing in 2010. He and his father researched different groups to run with and decided on HVR. Mark races a ’67 Cougar #16 with a 302 engine because they could not find a good Mustang and he had previously restored a Cougar. Mark’s Cougar was barely a roller and it required ground up chassis and body restoration.
When asked what he likes about HVR, Mark replied, “The People.”
