Hedge Hollow with our friends in NASA MidAmerica promises to be an epic event on May 17-19. Located just east of Adrian, Missouri (about an hour southeast of KC), this track was originally developed for the private testing of modern supercars and hypercars. Fortunately for us the owner is passionate about vintage race cars, so HVR will be the first vintage organization to turn laps on this amazing new track!
Because this will be the first year of club racing at the facility, we anticipate some logistical growing pains, but we know that NASA MidAmerica is doing everything possible to anticipate and mitigate them. Parking and the paddock area are the limiting factors at the track, and we will need to be efficient parking our trailers and any support vehicles. Overnight camping is approved, but there won’t be a shower facility unless someone rents one of the garages.
Due to the paddock restrictions, NASA MidAmerica expects to limit entries, possibly to only 125, which is light for one of their events. They anticipate that this event will sell out quickly, with nationwide buzz already circulating. Therefore, we highly encourage you to register early (it is the first race on the calendar so your car should be ready). We don’t want any Vintage Racers to miss out on this inaugural event!
